Just a quick question : what are panHome, tiltHome and zoomHome. Are they internal strings you use as variable? I don't find any other reference to those values on the rest of Tooltips document. I guess we don't have to translate them, right?

Hello Pierre.

The document I provided, was only a preliminary working copy. At the time I was working on it, the panHome etc had not been included in the interface, but now they are.

I will need a few days before I can make a living document for the translation, where people can put in the translations in an easy manner.

Due to the limitations of the interface size itself, translators should try and keep translated words as short as possible... I know it can be difficult, especially from knowing Icelandic, where you can have "endless words" and descriptions.

I hope all translations can fit to the already existing bounds of the toolbox, but I fear it won't, and a restructuring of the toolbox might be needed (is planned for later on in any case).

Trausti,

You're right, translation length is really important as your interface area is limited. And that's where translation software are unable to replace humans
Another point is, I don't think specifics terms (like pan or tilt) have to be translated. Anyway, let’s wait the last version of your document. with screen copy.

If I find the time, I hope to have moved closer to having the needed paperwork in a couple of weeks.

Ok,
Feel free to mail it. I'll start translation right after I receive it.

Oh, last thing, could you rename this topic 'French - Français' ? ;)

bonjour,

Salutations

Good morning,
I am Swiss and I speak French. I have waited for several months for the release of your interface. I bought it this week.
I am a photographer and make 360° virtual tours. I used PurePlayer, but it did not evolve, therefore I chose FPP for the future, but it is necessary to to master the langugage of flash to use it.
Therefore if you have material to start the use of Flashificator, thank you for keeping me posted .;)
I have a little bit of trouble to understand how to use your program.

Best regards

Bonjour et le merci pour votre soutien.
J'espère que les dossiers d'aide seront prêts la semaine prochaine. Alors les traductions peuvent être faites.
Les gens ont attendu une longue période les dossiers pour être prêts.
Je vous souhaite le bon progrès avec le programme jusqu'à ce qu'une version française soit prête.

I hope that the help files will be ready next week. Then translations can be made.
People have been waiting a long time for the files to be ready.
I wish you good progress with the program until a French version is ready.

hello, thank you for your reply. I spoke very little English and I translated this message with an automatic translator.

I expect you to the manual. I can not do hot point between 360 ° and the dashboard, I can not operate the
features. I am very much counting on your program to move in 360 degrees. If
I can also help you ....

Thank you

Hello all,

Was just wondering if we've gotten anywhere since the last comment on the French translation as we are trying to get to grips with this software and having a real tough time transferring from tourweaver.

Thanks
