size of initial image

size of initial image

Postby Glyn » Mon Apr 11, 2011 11:46 am

Hi all,

I'm guessing that the answer to this might be to fiddle about with the XML code, but I'm hoping there is another way...

I want to set the size of the initial window when the html is opened. Mine seems to be opening the size of the entire screen straight away... (not full screen, it still has borders....)

Any ideas would be most welcome!!

Many thanks,
Glyn

Plugins>HTML edit

You can set the size based on pixels (default) or by percentages (tick the tickbox(es))

Hi Trausti,

Thanks for your reply.

The html edit plugin seems to just alter the size of flash, what I am actually trying to do is alter the size of the browser window that opens when you click on the html file...

Is that possible?

Thanks,

Glyn

For that you need to play with Javascript, and yes, it is absolutely possible... but I can not offer any help in that regard, since Javascript is not Proggy's strong side. I am sure you could get help on that from other users here, or from the FPP forums where more code-savvy people are found.

Glyn, trying using the <iframe> tag; e.g.:
Code: Select all
<iframe src="http://panocea.us/4287/" name="Map" width="1000" height="475" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" /></iframe>

And read more here:

I can't find it online, but Denis, the father creator, also wrote up a nice bit in the fpp Tutorial.pdf on this matter. Check your package that Trausti sent you when you purchased your license.

Great, thanks very much... I'll give it a try tomorrow... My eyes are hurting from too much computer time!

Much appreciated!
