Removing test files

How to clean out "trash" files from saved project files:

Go to your temp folder ... if you are using a PC you will find it here by default: C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Local Settings\Temp
Delete all the folders from there. It is safe to do, this is after all the TEMP folder. If some folders don't want to get deleted, let them stay.
Open your ffc saved file in Flashificator.
Refresh the Temp folder (hit F5 when it is open) and you will see a new folder appear.
Open the folder, locate the files you want to delete and delete them.
When you have deleted everything you need, you click "Reload" on the Flashificator work window and then Flashificate.
Check that the project is as it should be, and no extra files are present.
If everything is as it should be, you can save your project again.

Just be careful, and keep an extra copy of the older save file, in case you delete something that should not be deleted in the temp folder.

This way you can clean out the additional files you don't want in the project, and which might increase the save file size significantly (especially if you have been playing with video and audio files, then decided not to use those).

Hi Trausti,

How do we to this in Windows 7? The "Local Settings" folder is not actually a folder in Windows 7 and cannot be accessed normally.

Thanks!
