For Adobe AIR version 2.xxx Download it from http://adobe.com
List of (new) features and functions is found here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2292&p=6777#p6777
Use the following context menu with the above demo versions.
This context menu was made on July 28th 2010.
The package should be unzipped, the AIR file installed, and the ffc_contextmenu.swf file should be used as THE ONLY context menu file in the project you want to try and protect.
The demo version is fully functional, except for the time limit feature being disabled. The life cycle of any project published, is limited to only 2 hours, and you need to have internet connection in order to use the program. That is for the internal security, so that the program can not be tricked into thinking there is another time (moving computer time back or forth).
DEMO version 3- Help file (.pdf) is now included in the program. The file contains all the information that is needed for hand coders to get things running right. To access the help file click "Help" on the top banner, then "Pano Cocoon Help".
- 'Check for updates' button in the DEMO version now leads to the correct DEMO download page in the forums, and not to the Full version download page.
- The colour schemes for DEMO and FULL versions are different now. DEMO version is poison green, while the FULL version has a blue colour theme. Both of the colour schemes are easier on the eyes than the previous dark gray one, and things stand out more clearly.
- Burning Cocooned projects onto CD/DVD is enabled. Projects can be opened locally without crashing the browser/computer.
IMPORTANT 1: This is NOT a duplication prevention. CD/DVD's can still be duplicated.
IMPORTANT 2: If you activate domain lock for projects you burn onto CD/DVD, the disk can NOT be viewed locally. But this would be ideal for delivering projects to a client; Adding a domain lock to the project, listing the client's domain, they receive the disk, upload the content and can view the project from their own domain.
The files on the CD/DVD will still be protected with encryption (the xml is always encrypted by default, while image encryption is optional), so no theft of the panorama images/xml can take place.
This should make the program more flexible in use.
