ffc should remember its project placement

ffc should remember its project placement

Postby VirtualGuide » Mon Jul 11, 2011 4:41 am

It is disturbing to me if I have to go through the directories to save the project at the right folder. If I open ffc project from etc. e:/test/test.ffc, why it can not offer me to save at that place, but starts with "my documents"? Each time I am saving!

Igor

Here, Here!!

Actually, a reasonable workaround was offered here recently. If you create a 'current job' folder at the default browser opening (My Documents I think) then you can create various client folders if you have a few projects. When completed you could move them to your prefered location.

OK, I know that :) Still I do not want it to save there. Why? For example, because I use external HDD with my desktop in office and laptop at home...

Let me take this up with Proggy AGAIN... I have done so in the past a couple of times, but he hasn't made the needed changes. I am in 100% agreement on this issue... it is very irritating having to locate the final folder area every time. Yes, one can make a workaround, but that should absolutely not be that way.
