Problem with Pano Cocoon

Problem with Pano Cocoon

Postby jgbergeron@mac.com » Wed Sep 21, 2011 9:22 pm

Hi, I used Pano Cocoon for a few days (especially for xml encryption). When I use Cocoon with a html and a xml hand coded files, I have this message:

pano_b.jpg The requested URL was not found on this server.

I have this message for all six faces of my cube.

But, in my original XML file, the name of my cube faces is not "pano".

And my PanoName_b.jpg is not on the root of directory, but in a "images" folder.

What is the problem?

Help!!!!

Please

Dear John,

i think we can wait and wait and wait. Support from Mr. Trausti is more than bad. No answer on E-Mail, no answers here in Forum. If i pay for Software i can expect support and if someone sells software he must give some support.

EDIT
i got support from Trausti, delayed but very good. =)

Thanks

I 've had the same problem happened to me. The beginning of the XML files panoName = / visualFiles / pregray or panoName = files / visualFiles / ImageName needs to be written as. These photos are not written in Pano Cocoon does not do encryption. 1 frame in every scene is missing encryption. therefore necessary to write the first part of panoName.

Sorry for the late reply on this thread. As I have mentioned elsewhere, I simply have not had any time at all. These days I am trying to catch up, and hope I can stay visible for the coming times.

Yamikase, I have not come across your mail(s) yet, but there are still many mails in my boxes that I have not had the time to check. You are welcome to send me a mail again, and I will have a look at it, since I am responding to all new mails, while trying to work my way through the older ones.

Of course you should receive the needed support, and I am the one and only who has failed to do my part, not because I have wanted to fail, but because it has not been humanly possible for me to do any better lately.

As Olernuam points out, the issue in question happens when hand-coded projects (or manually altered xml files) don't have the panoName defined.

I have some problem too with publishing.
Sometimes it does not create all files in main directory - it create only index.html when publish with HTML page and I cannot open tour beacues I get error "Connection failed."
But after 5-10 minutes it publish without mistakes - it create index.html, playerProductInstall.swf, swfobject.js and tour loads without errors.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? (-:
