Not yet granted access to updates, can somebody help please?

Hello.

I purchased FFC 8 days ago. I immediately sent a message to Trausti requesting access to the updates section, and he hasn't logged on since.

I have been having a hell of a 'fun' time trying to get initial positions working. I have followed steps that have worked for others, and I just now followed exactly what Trausti did in a video, and nothing has worked. The video showed that Trausti was using v2.08, and I have v2.0686. He posted the video on 11th July 2011, yet I bought my copy on 2nd January 2012, and the shareit system gave me v2.0686.. very annoying.

Anyway, the short of it is that it seems that the reason the initial positions isn't working - or at least not working when I do it the way I have seen in these forums or Trausti's video - is that I have an older version. I really want an update, but the problem is Trausti hasn't granted me access yet. Can somebody please assist me with getting the latest update? I will do anything to prove I have purchased it if need be.

You purchased just at the wrong time, when T was taking a few days' break. He will be back on January 13. If you can wait until then, I am certain he will be able to help you.

Hi mathrafal, thanks for your reply.

I have discovered that my version (v2.0686) will do initial positions but there is a bug whereby you need to set positions, save the project, reload it and then it will work when you flashificate it.

I suspect there might be other bugs and things I'm missing out on so I'm still really keen to get an update! It's the 16th today and he's still away.

Shamefully late... but your account has finally been upgraded to have update access.

I was in the Amazon jungle until the 15th, my daughter returning home to Denmark on the 19th... and I still had a lot of other real life things to take care of before I dared touching the computer. I am trying to go through and respond to all mails and messages I have received over the past 2 months, which is not something to be envied.

I purchased FFC 13 days ago. I immediately sent a message to Trausti Hraunfjord requesting access to the updates section,I was so exited to start using the program but Trausti Hraunfjord hasn't granted me update access on since.
Therefore Flashficator doesn't allow me to name my project which is step one of the tutorial on the" how to" section...
Any help would be appreciated...

So when you open FFC what do you see??? The top line has an input box to "Name your Project"... thats been the same for quite a while...

when I open FFC, i cannot write anything in the "Name your project" box...
FFC allows me to open a FFC project BUT i NEVER had the chance to even start one

My FFC isn't working at all
-Cannot open or drag and drop cubes,strip cubes, .jpeg, .tif, qtvr file...,
-Cannot Name project ...
-Cannot open project since i never created one...
-The program open and closes ...
